This week was very rewarding as I accomplished a lot. The two interviews I conducted

gave me very different views of public policy in the realm of politics but much of it

overlapped. Again another common factor was the importance of statistics and social

science classes taken both in high school and college. One of my interviews was with a

Political Theory professor from the University of North Texas. As a professional on the

educational side, she travels a lot to as she is constantly learning things due to the

ever-changingness of our political realm. She talked about her classes, experience in

college, and her current research which helped me visualize what my college years will

look like in the future. She gave me many podcasts, textbooks, and research papers that

she recommended that I look into. I enjoyed both of the interviews and was able to gain

an even better understanding of the public policy field and topics within it. I enjoyed both

of the interviews and was able to gain an even better understanding of my field and the

diverse topics encompassed within it.
