About Me
I am currently a senior attending Heritage High School intrigued by the impacts of political theory on our environment. I'm passionate about the affects of theory on government decisions and policies. In addition to my strong interest, I also have a deep understanding of the workings of our local, state, and federal branches of government due to internship opportunities. My experience, accompanied by my strong leadership and public speaking skills, make me believe that I'm well equipped for a future in human rights law.
Mission Statement
Through this Independent study, I hope to further my understanding of the impacts of theory on the political and social landscape in our community and in this country. I plan to gain experience in a professional setting under the guidance of a mentor while simultaneously doing my own research into the field. I will challenge myself to think beyond the arbitrary limits and take all perspectives into account. I will come out of this program a more professional and well rounded professional with hopes of demonstrating passion, class, and integrity while doing so. Most importantly, I hope to ignite change and make a positive impact in the society I reside in.
